Progress Report #4 - Apple Market Complete!
Well that didn't take too long at all. Now that's the kind of work I like to see!
More after the break!
The connecting area between Downtown and Apple Market. What, you didn't think I was just gonna have the door go straight in, did you?
Oh look, the Junk Shop!
Books Folio! Just make sure you're old enough to check out that back shelf...
Jetlag Bakery, here for all your can recycling needs.
Dressmaker Hipbone. Cause... Uhh... A lot of people on Kattleox wear stylish dresses or something? I don't even know.
Akbar Toystore! As if THAT wouldn't be renamed if MML were ever rereleased over here.
Bakery Sharkskin. Totally not as good as Jetlag. They don't even pay you to recycle your garbage.
Bronte Vegetable Store. They must've forgotten to put out the vegetables today.
Staple Electric Goods Store. For all your non-junky electronic needs!
High Necked Record Shop. I don't even know what that's supposed to mean.
Tailor Chinos. Where all the guys get their fancy clothes. Even though the majority are wearing overalls.
The view from the south side.
Everything together so far.
Eventually, once I've got more of the surrounding area done, I'll make the Apple Market walls extend further, and also fill all the empty inbetween land with trees and grass and stuff to make it properly forest-like. And at some point in time, I may add back rooms and such to those shops that have doors leading nowhere at the moment, like the vegetable shop and both bakeries.
I also added an actual interior to one of the houses in downtown, to serve as basically my house. As I think I mentioned at some point somewhere, I'll probably put out a request a bit later down the line for people to design building interiors, once I've finished up with the rest of the city, as I was never that good of an interior decorator in Minecraft. I'll eventually need several different styles of house, a game development studio, and a whole lot of warehouses. Maybe even the power plant, if I don't try to tackle that myself..
Anyways, I believe it's time to head off to Old City, as that's my next stop for building!
