The more I get into this project, the more I'm going to have to deal with some of the inconsistencies that existed in the original game. Things like spacial anomalies, areas overlapping, and a very inconsistent view of just what exactly Kattleox Island as a whole looks like.
That last one, in particular, is going to be an interesting one to overcome. Let's look at exactly what I'm talking about, shall we?
One man's attempt to singlehandedly build the entirety of Kattleox Island in Minecraft.

Progress Report #3 - Apple Market
This'll be a short one. Basically, I started Apple Market. This is what I've got done so far:
I still need to build all the store interiors, and then add the details, such as the banners and various boxes and trash cans. And somehow... Maybe, just maybe... DAT CAN. Overall, though, I have the strangest feeling this'll take a WHOLE lot less time to finish than Downtown did. And maybe I can do so without getting distracted for several days right in the middle of building!

Progress Report #1 - Downtown
Well, I probably should've started this blog a lot earlier, considering I'm practically done with building Downtown already. I do have a couple screenshots to throw into here, though, so that's always nice!
Here we have a nice full view of Downtown, facing south. Some details are still yet to be added at this point, such as light poles, mailboxes, trash cans, etc.

Beginnings
On August 31st, 1998, a game was released by Capcom by the name of Megaman Legends. It was meant to be Megaman's first foray into the realm of 3D, and it was fantastic.
On October 24th, 2000, Capcom released the sequel, Megaman Legends 2. They didn't have to. The first didn't end on a cliffhanger of any sort, and could've easily been a one-off game. But they did. And it, too, was fantastic. But it ended on a cliffhanger. A massive one. One that left the main character stranded on the moon while his family and former enemies worked together to try to get him back.
On September 29th, 2010, Capcom finally announced a third game in the series, one that would finally let us know what happened to the hero that was stranded on the moon for the last 10 years. It would be released on the Nintendo 3DS, and from the looks of it, it, too, would be fantastic.
On July 18th, 2011, Capcom announced that they were cancelling Megaman Legends 3. Fans around the world cried foul at this, and began to organize various attempts at getting Capcom to change their minds, and continue development of the game they had all been waiting for for so long.
And I decided that I'd use this as the perfect opportunity to finally begin a project I've been meaning to to do for a very long time, and possibly use it as a means of raising further awareness for the cause of bringing back Legends 3.
The goal of the project is to rebuild the entirety of Kattleox Island.
In Minecraft.
This is my story.
